Mickey built his career investing in technology. Prior to founding Telescope Partners, Mickey was at Sequoia Capital for 7 years where he helped build out the firm’s growth investing practice. At Sequoia, Mickey worked closely with Carbonblack (acquired by VMWare), Zirmed (acquired by Bain Capital), and Hirevue (acquired by Carlyle Group), among others.
Prior to Sequoia, Mickey worked at Summit Partners, where he invested in growth stage financial services, consumer products and technology sectors. Earlier, he was an investment banker with Brown Gibbons Lang and Keybanc Capital Markets, where he worked on a variety of M&A, equity, and debt transactions in the services sector. Mickey graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan.
