Shay joined Telescope Partners with years of experience in early and mid-stage software investing. He previously worked at OpenView and Marlin Equity, where he invested growth capital in B2B software businesses. He started his career at Bank of America Securities in their TMT group, where he helped execute a variety of M&A and equity transactions.
Shay graduated from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration and was also a member of the Cal Men's Lacrosse Team. He was born and raised in San Diego, CA.
